Organized as part of the "We Are in the Fight Against Climate Change Project" under the "Green Future Town Twinning-II Grant Program Between Turkey and the EU," where Buca Municipality is the applicant, the Adana Climate Literacy Trainer Training and Adana Study Visit took place from October 30 to November 1, 2024.

During the program, Adana Metropolitan Municipality delivered a presentation on its SECAP (Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plan) efforts. Subsequently, project consultants provided a two-day Climate Literacy Trainer Training to the personnel from the Adana Metropolitan Municipality Climate Department, Fire Department, and participating district municipalities.

As part of the Adana Study Visit, good practices of the municipality were reviewed, and an operational introduction was conducted at the Adana Metropolitan Municipality Integrated Solid Waste Disposal Facility.

The study visit also included participation from our project partner, Pülümür Municipality, represented by Pülümür Mayor Müslüm Tosun. Accompanied by Gülşen Birgül Ağdemir, Deputy Secretary-General of Adana Metropolitan Municipality, city and environmental tours were conducted.
